Purpose of this assignment is introduce you to the process of policy analysis; make recommendations for modifications to improve overall outcomes, enhance efficiency, provide greater equity, and more. Part of the paper is already started. We are focusing on a bill: Mental Health Access Improvement Act that needs to be amended: the statement of “after obtaining such degree has performed at least 2 years of supervised clinical experience…” We feel that this unreasonable; having a master and doctoral degrees in the field provides the education and exposure.
